Quenching Conveyor

A customer experienced mechanical failures on quenching drives caused by wear in the Teflon bushes supporting the quenching rollers. This led to rollers dropping, damage to sprockets and chains, and the manufactured steel shoes sticking. NSK recommended replacing the Teflon bushes with stainless steel Molded-Oil bearings; after a 12-month trial all bushes in the quenching area were replaced.
